How long does the Bible say Job suffered?

It’s not in the Bible! Job had a lot of bad things happen all in one day (Job 1:13-18). Job’s friends when they heard about his troubles set out to go see him (Job 2:11). The Bible doesn’t detail how long it took for Job’s friends to hear about the problems, prepare for their trip and then travel to see him. The Bible does say they just sat with Job for a week without saying anything (Job 2:13). Then everybody speaks to each other. Then God speaks to Job. Then God commands Job’s friends to go offer a sacrifice (Job 42:7-9). They leave and Job prays (Job 42:10) and then Job is restored.
