This Is The Life

On which day did Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit?

A. Day 8
B. Day 14
C. Day 40
D. Is that in the Bible?

It’s not in the Bible! On day six the Bible says God created the living creatures and mankind, both male and female (Genesis 1:24-31). God rests on day seven and blesses it and makes it holy (Genesis 2:1-3). God had told Adam and Eve to “be fruitful and multiply” on day six (Genesis 1:28), but they don’t have children until after they have been driven out of the garden in Genesis 4:1-2. Adam is 130 years old the first time his age is mentioned in the Bible in Genesis 5:3 (after the birth of his third son mentioned). It’s clear Eve did not give birth in the garden, but they were allowed to eat from the tree of life before they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The story between Genesis 2:25 and Genesis 3:1 would be quite the life.
